These photos were taken between 2pm and 4:30pm on September 9, 2020 in Belmont, California.  A thick layer of smoke from wildfires was held aloft by a marine layer at the surface providing a natural light filter turning everything shades ranging from yellows, to oranges, to reds.  Around 2pm in the afternoon, there was so little light coming through that it looked like night outside.
